Spain, A Rich Tapestry of culture, customs and flavors.
Spain has been a favorite destination since the late 60’s when it started to welcome its first tourists to its sunny shores. Each of its distinct 17 Regions offers an amazing variety of culture, dialects, history and gastronomy. You can almost say that Spain’s 17 regions are different countries in one. Madrid, the capital located in the center of Spain, is a perfect example of what a regal city looks with fountains, monuments and palaces as well the impressive Museums of El Prado, Reina Sofia and the Thyssen-Bornemisza. Madrid is also known for the best nightlife in Europe.
Barcelona is a progressive and sophisticated city full of unique monuments, where you can admire Antonio Gaudi’s unique architectural legacy and enjoy Cataluña’s culture. Valencia the third largest city in Spain is located along the popular Costa Blanca. It has excellent sunny weather and miles of white sandy beaches. The city features an impressive contrast between its historic quarter and the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences.
As you travel along Spain’s northern lush green area between the border with France and the Atlantic Coast, you will encounter different dialects, culture and gastronomy. Andalucia the largest region in Spain, has also been a favorite destination during many decades as the birthplace of Flamenco and for its lively attitude towards life. The beautiful historic cities of Sevilla, Granada and Cordoba are home to many Unesco Heritage Sites like, Sevilla’s Cathedral, Alcazar Palace and the Minaret Watchtower, the imposing Alhambra Palace and Gardens in Granada and La Mezquita a former Mosque in Cordoba.
